EYFS Woodland Sessions

From Tuesday 21st February, we have a woodland ranger coming to do some sessions with the Reception children in the woods. These are structured sessions which will be carefully planned to meet the needs of the children. The woodland area is just over the bridge near the recreation ground and is safely fenced off and used regularly by the school.

The sessions will run on alternate weeks to those run by Musical Gems. The dates for woodland sessions are: 21.02.17, 28.02.17, 14.03.17, 28.03.17.

On these days your child MUST bring waterproof trousers, a coat and their wellies. A hat, scarf and a spare pair of socks are also useful as the sessions are all outdoors and last about an hour.

The Ranger (Pete Bush) will be accompanied by Mrs Stankard and a parent/governor.

Please come and see me if you have any queries or questions about the sessions. I hope you will agree that this is a wonderful opportunity for the children.

Miss Dudley
