A massive thank you to all the parents who came to support the children at our Harvest Festival or sent in donations to be sent along to the Padley Centre.
We were warmly welcomed into St. Katherine’s by Father Tony and the team and had a lovely service. Each class performed; the Jets ‘Life at Mill’ was loud and clear and full of their learning, the Spitfires had produced superb art work to illustrate their poem and the Concordes gave us all a lot to think about with the meaning of harvest poem. We were even treated to art work from the Rowsley Pre-school with their Big Red Combine Harvester, and it was amazing.
The singing, even from the parents, was super as we all came together to celebrate as a team. A lovely first visit to the church for me and a great start to the church-school relationship for a new school year.
