As a second lockdown is beginning on Thursday 5th November we have taken the opportunity to review our current Covid-19 practice in school.
On the whole we are happy that current school practice keeps our children and staff as safe as possible during these strange times.
However, we would like to make some changes to our drop off and collection arrangements, which will ensure that waiting times are further reduced for parents. From Thursday, school doors will open for all classes at 8.55 am and close at 9.05am, and you can drop your child off at the gates between these times. Children will then go directly into classrooms. Parents do not need to come onto the school playground.
If your child arrives later than 9.05am please phone the school office from the gate and we will come out to meet your child.
In addition to this we would ask that only one adult drops off and collects children from school, and that this adult wears a facemask while waiting outside school. Staff will also wear a facemask at drop off and collection time, but not inside school. We request that parents remain socially distanced at this time.
At the end of the school day:
This will reduce the numbers of parents waiting for older siblings to finish school. Please ensure that all children have left the school premises by 3.30pm.

In school we take our responsibilities for keeping children safe very seriously, and ask that you support us by following these measures during the lockdown period.
Once again take care, and look after each other, and thank you for your ongoing support.
