Dear Parents and Carers,
I am writing to let you know that I am retiring at the end of the summer term. I can't believe that I have worked at Rowsley School for over 35 years and this decision has not been easy. I've had the best job ever, supporting children, families, staff and governors both past and present. I am now teaching children of children I taught, and even grandchildren!
I have made many lifelong friendships with staff and parents and many ex-pupils keep in touch and always have a chat if we meet. Our lovely school has been through many changes and challenges, especially the recent flood, but nothing stops the Rowsley team. What I am looking forward to is being able to attend school events and to sit and watch!
Thank you for the privilege of helping your children to grow and learn, and thank you for your friendship. Rowsley School and all of you will always have a special place in my heart.
With all good wishes,
