Update from Mrs Poole

Dear Parents/Carers

I thought that it was time for another catch up to let you know how things have been in school. We currently have about 21 children in school from Reception, Years 1 and 6 in 2 bubbles. In addition to this we have between 7 and 10 children each day from both Rowsley and Stanton in our key worker bubble. While it feels a little bit like school, things are still far from ‘normal’.

The question I am asked more than any at the moment is about what school will look like in September and, at this point in time, we are still working on the details.  As soon as we have a plan in place I will, of course, let you all know. I remain optimistic that it will be school as normal and know that this is what many of you would like to see.

There is some good news …  we have appointed Chloe Lindley as our new Infant teacher. She will take up this post in September when Mrs Anderson moves to her new job and Mrs Hewitt moves to Years 5 and 6. Miss Lindley has had experience of teaching Early Years and Key Stage 1 and comes with excellent references. We have also appointed Mrs Leanne Marples as a Teaching Assistant in the Infant class and, again, she will take up her post in September. I am sure that you will join me in welcoming both of our new staff to our school community.

I will send one further letter out before the end of term, hopefully providing you with the information that you will need for the new school year. In the meantime, please know that the children are greatly missed and we are looking forward to seeing them again as soon as we can.

As always, please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns that you may have.

With very best wishes

Caroline Poole
