We are a busy and friendly Christian school, with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils.
I am delighted that the family-friendly ethos that the school has always had, is still being maintained. You can spot Rowsley School children amongst other schools, as they are the most well-behaved and polite, and it's good to see this is still important.
Rowsley School has always had a great reputation for polite, well behaved children. There is a wonderful family atmosphere, with respect between pupils and adults alike.
We have really enjoyed working with Rowsley Primary School. It has been a warm and welcoming collaborative community in which to work- the enthusiasm of both staff and pupils for our musical communities project has been just wonderful!
Hello I would just like to praise how well-behaved and well-mannered the pupils (Year 3 & 4) on your recent trip to Haddon Hall were. We also happened to be waiting for the bus at the same time they were, unfortunately it drove past and left them stranded. Even when this happened, they all took it in good spirits. They are a credit to the school and I did not think it should go unmentioned.
I am delighted to announce that we have two new members of part time staff joining us. Mrs Kate Nicholson (TA) will be working all day Monday & Tuesday and Wednesday & Thursday mornings and will be providing additional support in our KS2 classes. She will also be working 1:1 with pupils...

We celebrated World Book Day on 2nd March by dressing as characters from our favourite books - our pupils (and staff!) were replaced by an eclectic gathering of kings, queens and princesses, footballers, undercover agents, heroes, villains, magical beings from fairy tales and many more besides...
