The PREVENT Duty
Our Federation is committed to providing a secure environment for pupils, where children feel safe and are kept safe. All adults in our school recognise that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, irrespective of the role they undertake or whether their role has direct contact with or responsibility for children.
Our Prevent named person is Alexia Wyer (firstname.lastname@example.org). Please contact her at anytime to discuss any issues or concerns regarding our Prevent strategy.
The Governing Body fully accepts the school's responsibility to implement the Prevent Duty.
The aim of the PREVENT Duty is to identify individuals at risk of being drawn into extremism, assess the nature and extent of that risk and develop the most appropriate support for the individuals concerned.
