As a school we very much love being outdoors.  However we realise this might not be for everyone, and sometimes, especially in the colder months, it is lovely to lose ourselves in an indoor craft activity while chatting with our friends.

Our after-school craft club with Miss Bacon on Thursdays is a calm and creative hour where children can make a design such as a canvas bag or keyring to take home.  There is music playing and lots of opportunities to bring those creative designs alive.

On Tuesday lunchtimes Dianne, Janet and Kate from the local community visit school to hold a knitting club.  The children start a project with the ladies, and many of them then bring their knitting every day, so that they can knit and natter every lunchtime.  It is a very mindful activity, and lovely to see the children so focused on their projects.
